Just because.....

I take a bee-jillion pictures of my little ones (are you really surprised :)).
However, I am super behind in presenting the latest and greatest but here are some from the past few weeks that must be shared with all those that love them :)

Radio Flyer

I've dreamt of having a red wagon for the family for.... well long before I had a family!  And guess what?  We did it!  We got one!  It's been quite a hit around here I must say.  Graham wakes up every morning in bed lifting up the blinds and peeking out the window to show me how awesome it is!  The very word "wagon" gets him giddy.  (Although the pictures don't really show it.) :)
Truly, what adult kid wouldn't love to ride around in this thing.  Sure it's bumpy and a little squeeky, but part of what makes it so great!
I take them on rides around the neighborhood nearly every day.

I can't wait to take this lovelyness with us to the country where she'll really shine!  Fruit picking, festivals, farmers markets.
Hmmmm :)

and Graham thinks it's great for napping too.

catching butterflies

I cannot believe it has been so long since I last wrote!
Not for lack of things to say I guarantee!
I will super try to visit this fine blog of mine at least once a week. Twice if I can muster the extra time.
Now onto the fun stuff!

Many weeks ago we took a trip to the Academy of Natural Sciences in S.F.   It was SO much fun.  I can't wait to go back.  Next time I'll make time for the gift shop so we can bring home a little piece of the place.  Museum gift shops are simply the best places to get educational goodies. (Grin)!
Here are some photos of Molly in the "Rain Forest"

Wait for it....

It happened!

It really actually happened!
She held a butterfly.  It was a special day!

Oh Christmas Tree

It was cold.
It was far.
It was worth it.

As we walked up to the
Tree Farm, Molly spotted "The One."
Honestly it was the best one!
Before heading home, we played amongst the trees and sipped on warm apple cider.

I'm not sure why, but this years tree is my absolute favorite tree we've had.

I am a sap for making memories and traditions.
Here is one more.
Glee.

Grahams Birthday Day

A morning trip to S.F. for lunch and to pick up Grandma who flew in for a visit, hooray!  Followed by an afternoon trip to visit the Zoo.  We did the same zoo trip for Molly's 1st birthday so we kept the tradition going.
TRADITION!
(Dad, why did you pop in my head as I wrote that? Hmn.)

Well it was one of those rare occasions when the day just flows along almost effortlessly.  Almost :)
Truly, it was a very special day.

Graham and "Dada" watching the birds.

I am still dreaming of these adorable chairs, and of course the little ones who sat on them.
Ummm. Cute.

I couldn't resist having Graham take a picture in front of this "G" sign.
Wouldn't every mom?

Happy 1st Birthday to my happy little guy!
We hope you had as wonderful of a day as we all did!
You are SO so loved!
XOXO

Golden Delicious

When Fall arrived I could hardly wait for us all to dig our hands into it!  It's my favorite time of year, so to celebrate it was off to the Apple Orchards to begin the season!

As we arrived at the orchard, I inhaled a deep satisfying breath of fresh air and our wonderful afternoon began!

Surprise!  Look who's eating.
Molly decided she actually liked apples on this day.  On this day only.

My handsome country boy.  He looks cute next to a tractor, no? :)
A proud sister :)
Yes, it was just the tire that made him this happy...boys.

Pumpkins oh pumpkins

I LOVE pumpkin patches!
The real ones.
Where the pumpkins were actually grown there.
We were going to a Halloween Festival afterwards,  FYI the slippers and tutu :)

A big piece of land with cows and a horse, chickens, bunnies, oh and beehives!

Wildflowers, hay, dirt, an old barn, rusty wagons and nice people.
Well nothing puts a smile on my face and love in my heart like a bit of country family living.

This is our second year going to the this family owned pumpkin patch and you can bet we'll be back again next year.  We didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked, being Grahams first pumpkin hunt and all.  But it really was the best way to spend a beautiful day with family.

See above Molly's tongue.  It was a heavy pumpkin after all!

A apple a day

A wonderful day spent with family.
Picking, eating and enjoying the slow pace of the country.
Playing in the dirt and reminding myself this is part of the adventure!
Learning that we MUST do this EVERY year.
Envisioning what we can make with our bushel of apples!!!

I really love this picture of me and my girl.
On this day, we were apple pickers.
Yes we were.
